Hosted by Zante's Bar & Grill

Tapas-style food and beer/cocktail pairings
Once a month, Zantes is offering informal tapas-style food and beer/cocktail pairings celebrating Northern Ontario’s craft beverage scene. Each Tap Takeover will feature the products of a different Northern craft alcohol producer. Once Zantes’ brewing capacity is up and running, collaboration beers will also be developed as part of the takeovers. Menu cards provide information about the 6 pairings, brew masters mingle through the crowds to chat about the beer/cocktail and servers are ready to answer any questions about the pairings. The Tap Takeover is a great for locals and visitors alike. Everyone is guaranteed to leave with a greater appreciation for the quality and diversity of craft alcohol available in Northern Ontario.

Once a month, Zantes Bar and Grill offers a local dinner event. Each event includes a multi-course meal showcasing a different local producer and their products (e.g. bison, cheese, berries, etc.). Vegetarian options are available. The dinner series highlights the bounty of local food and drink products available around the Lake Temiskaming Tour, with a focus on seasonality. The menu celebrates the diversity of ways that the featured products can be cooked and aims to inspire and empower participants to buy more local products to cook in their own homes. After a quick introduction to the producer and meal, cozy and casual atmosphere makes it easy for participants to chat to the producers and chefs behind the meal, as well as meet others enjoying the meal alongside them. The dinner series offers a great way from couples and friends to enjoy a night out throughout the year.
