Beaches

There are many beaches in the communities that make up Temiskaming Shores, Cobalt and area. Lake Temiskaming itself features two beaches in Temiskaming Shores alone – New Liskeard Beach and Haileybury Beach. The beach in Haileybury is staffed with lifeguards in the summer and even features an exciting waterslide and a kid-favourite waterpark activity that many have dubbed “The Mushroom”. Another favourite beach in the area is Bass Lake in Coleman Township, just a few minutes’ drive outside of the Town of Cobalt.
