Festivals in Northern Témiscamingue

The main event in Northern Témiscamingue is the Truck Rodeo, which is the largest trucker festival in Eastern Canada. Every summer, its heavy-truck-pulling competitions attract thousands of visitors. Although they are smaller than the Truck Rodeo, other festivals that mark the calendar compete with it in originality. Activities include fish tasting and ice fishing at Angliers, the pickerel spawn at Rémigny, the aboriginal Pow-Wow in the Timiskaming First Nations community, and musical performances in the Nédélec countryside.
